What's included:

Curriculum/ Kindergarten Readiness Program (2K, 3K, & 4K)

Our center uses infant, toddler and preschool curriculum as planned by the teachers. What the children learn becomes progressively more challenging for them as they grow and develop new skills. We incorporate activities and educational materials that are appropriate for the age and developmental stage of each child to ensure each child's abilities are focused on.

Staff You Can Trust
Our staff meet or exceed the requirements of the state of Wisconsin DCF and are CPR certified. They are required to have training and/or a degree in Early Childhood education along with experience working with children. They must also keep current with continuing education hours and pass a criminal background check annually, which does include a FBI fingerprint background check upon hire before beginning to work with the children and every 5 years thereafter. We are an equal opportunity employer.

Nutritious Meals
All children in care are offered nutritious meals and snacks daily, including breakfast, am snack, lunch, pm snack, dinner, and a bedtime snack. All meals and snacks are prepared in our onsite kitchen. There is no extra charge for meals or snacks. We participate in the Child Care Food Program (CACFP) and comply CACFP guidelines for meal requirements.

Outdoor Experiences
As our center continues to improve, we are focusing on both indoors and out. This includes working towards a more natural playground outdoors on our 4000+ square foot playground. The children have the opportunity to regularly take nature walks. The Ice Age trail is being extended in the lot next door to us that will connect us to the Ridge Run Park, which we often visit for something different for the children. We also have the Milwaukee River right behind our center where we can view many animals in their natural habitat. We have an onsite garden area for the children to grow foods and flowers to extend their learning beyond the classroom environment as well. Outdoors we also have a sensory area set up for the children where they can participate in outdoor art experiences and sand and water play activities.

Field Trips
To teach the children about the world around them and further enhance their learning we take the children on field trips. Most of these are free, while some do have minimal fees associated with them. Field trips in the past have consisted of Milwaukee County Zoo, Post Office, Jackson Splash Pad, Betty Brinn, Stony Island, and having the police department and fire departments come to our center for visits.

Vacation Days
All families attending our center at least 2 days per week receive vacation days, determined by when the child is enrolled at our center. Before and after school is considered part-time. No vacation days will be issued for school age children if only enrolled for the summer program, drop-in, hourly, or before and after school care only with no summer care. School age children must be enrolled year-round to qualify for vacation days. Vacation days can be used in place of payment on days in which your child is not in attendance. This includes holidays, as well as days in which the child would normally attend, but does not due to illness or vacation.

Please call us at 262-338-0172 to ensure proper pricing.

FAQ about payments and billing

We have a “NO PAY NO PLAY” policy.

This means you must make your payments in order for your child to continue attending. If you do not pay your bill on time, you run the risk of care for your child being refused at drop off. If a situation arises and you cannot make a payment as agreed, speak to the director to work something out.

You can pay weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or even just deposit a larger amount and wait for the balance to be used before replenishing.

You can even

payments! How you pay is up to you. It just must always be paid in advance of care.

A checking account or credit card is required to secure payment on all accounts; which will be billed if care is terminated by either party and you fail to pay any remaining balance due.

Should collection through small claims be necessary, parents/guardians will be responsible for all collections fees and/or court costs.
